Meet Alex
Alex Feng
Clinical Psychology Registrar/ Psychologist
Hi there, my name is Alex and I am a passionate registered psychologist with a business background.
My approach is supportive, open and collaborative. I aim to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you can explore your challenges at your own pace. Together, we will draw on evidence-based strategies to build self-awareness, develop practical tools, and create meaningful change. I believe that everyone brings unique strengths to therapy, and that by working authentically, growth can happen in a sustainable and empowering way.
My areas of interest include:
Addictions (alcohol/gaming/sex)
ADHD
Procrastination
Adolescents (14+)
Anger management
Anxiety (social, general, fear)
Depression
Men's mental health
PTSD (single events)
Relationships and interpersonal conflict
Sleep Disorders
Stress and work-related issues
I work with a range of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT). Learn more about these here.
Before becoming a psychologist, I worked in auditing and risk consulting with mid-tier and Big 4 firms as well as publicly listed companies. However, I left that field for psychology to pursue work that felt meaningful to me.
Outside of psychology, I enjoy playing touch football, snorkelling, travelling, and Japanese food. I also volunteer as a coach for primary school children in touch football.

Life brings challenges for all of us, and sometimes it’s easier to move through them with the right support.
